Getting them down
To collect Honey from them, honeycombs need to be taken to the ground by shooting them with an arrow, hitting them with a smoke bomb, or by chopping the tree they're on.
Respawn
Honeycombs in Bahari Bay fully despawn for all players 5 minutes after the first time they are gathered, similar to Dari Cloves and Heartdrop Lilies. Honeycombs in the Elderwood despawn after 30 seconds, like other uncommon forageables.
Infected beehives
Like other Elderwood gatherables, Honey can be infected with Infected Essence and requires an Elderwood Potion or the Bag of Illusion to be collected.
On your ranch
Honey can be collected from Bumbles on the Player's Ranch.
