Questions

How do crop bonuses work in Palia?

Each crop gives one bonus (Water Retain, Weed Block, Harvest Boost, Quality Boost or Growth Boost) to different crops touching its side, not diagonally. A 1×1 crop needs one neighbour with a bonus, a 2×2 crop two tiles and a 3×3 crop three tiles of the same bonus. A crop with all four bonuses around it gets the most out of your garden.

Do bonuses cross garden plots?

Crops can't cross from one 3×3 soil plot to another, but bonuses do reach across where plots touch.
