Biography
Asaani was a Watcher in the United Order of the Palian Republic over a century ago, best known for her bold defiance of the Order’s romantic restrictions.
Through a little-known loophole in post-Cartel Trade War amendments, she legally married her wife, Zarina Freebooter, while remaining a respected Order member. Despite facing scrutiny and social backlash, Asaani retired with full honors and went on to become a celebrated author.
Her semi-autobiographical novel, The Order of Love, recounts her forbidden romance and moral struggles during wartime.
Asaani lived in the Opoc Mountains with her palcats and Zarina, where she spent her later years hiking, rock climbing, baking, and writing books such as The Adder Strikes.
