Barafuu is a location mentioned by various Villagers. This location has not yet been implemented into Palia, and cannot be traveled to.

Description

Barafuu is one of the twelve or thirteen provinces of the Palian Republic. It is a coastal state known for its frosty weather and formidable, but rugged craftsmanship. Barafuu has or had also at least one active volcano, whose rare volcanic mud is used for expensive face masks.

The early Barafuan settlers were ruled by the first Queen of Barafuu. According to Delaila, Ormuu milk was one of the few food sources for these settlers and their Queen was very fond of it. After centuries of war Barafuu – along with other feudal monarchies – joined the Palian Republic and became one of its provinces. Today Barafuu is known for velvet textiles, preserved fish, and quiet trade prestige.

Barafuu is home to the Barafuu Silkies, a Roundball team with four Galdur members.

Location

Barafuu is the northernmost Palian province and far away from the island of Bahari, where Kilima Valley, Bahari Bay, Elderwood and the Royal Highlands are located.
