Biography
Zeki’s father, affectionately referred to as Pops or Pa, was the heart and soul of their family. A playful, rule-breaking Grimalkin who brought warmth and wonder into his children’s lives. In contrast to Ma’s discipline and ambition, Pa was a free spirit who believed in bending the rules for the sake of joy and adventure. His mischievous nature and knack for finding fun made him a beloved figure among Zeki and his littermates, even when his antics occasionally landed him in hot water.
Pa was the type to sneak his kittens out late at night to witness the beauty of Luna, letting them believe they could grasp the moon with their tiny paws. He had a habit of slipping them little presents and sweets when Ma wasn’t looking, knowing full well he’d face her stern disapproval later—but to him, the smiles on his kittens’ faces were always worth the risk.
Unlike most Grimalkin, who shun the idea of wishes, Pa encouraged his children to dream and hope. He let them make wishes in secret, guiding them through the ritual and telling them to keep it between themselves. It was a small act of rebellion, but one that carried immense meaning for Zeki, who still holds onto the memory of wishing to spend Luna New Year with his family again.
