Civic Projects are a game mechanic in Palia. They are community-wide objectives that allow players to come together to complete a shared goal, while unlocking rewards in the process.
Description
Civic Projects are large-scale objectives that allow players to contribute towards a community goal and reward. Along with working towards one larger goal, players can obtain smaller rewards for their contributions in the process. The projects themselves will be limited to a certain timeframe until the goal is met, but personal progress and rewards can still be achieved at the player's own pace.
How to Obtain
Civic Projects are obtainable at any point, regardless of the player's progress in the game. While not considered a Lunar Path in itself, Civic Projects may have an associated Lunar Path for obtaining rewards, which the player can achieve progress towards without the need to activate it. This means the player can have a Lunar Path activated while simultaneously progressing their Civic Project.
Progressing a Civic Project requires obtaining Civic Project XP, usually one associated with the specific project the player may be trying to progress.
List of Civic Projects
Any Civic Project community goal is only around for a limited time, but the rewards can still be obtained at the player's own pace after the project has been completed.
