We can’t wait to see all the beautiful gardens Palians will make with these flowers. And be sure to expect even more options in the future.

Decorative Flowers are grown in 2 to 3 stages, beginning as a sprout, and will advance in their growth with regular watering. They cannot be planted in gardening Soil, but they can be planted anywhere on the Player's Housing Plot that they currently have unlocked (even indoors! but only on the floor).
There is a maximum capacity of 1,000 seeds/flowers per housing plot and, just like Trees that can be planted, flowers count towards the 3,500 total asset limit per housing plot. This means that if the Player plants the maximum amount of flowers, there will only be a 2,500 asset limit left for furniture and other Decor items.
How to Obtain Flower Seeds
There are five ways to obtain seeds for your flower garden: Bug Catching, propagation, purchasing, and participating in the Piksii Blossom Bounce and Flower Bloom events.
Bug Catching
Certain Bugs have a chance to drop a flower seed after catching them.
Kilima Valley
The following flower seeds can be obtained by catching bugs in Kilima Valley:
Bahari Bay

Propagation
After the last stage of watering, a flower will produce a seed. Only one seed is produced per flower! (Note: Certain flowers, shrubs, and other plants unique to the Piksii Blossom Bounce and Flower Bloom events cannot be propagated.)
Harvesting seeds from flowers that produce them grants a seed which can be planted and watered to grow a new flower. These seeds will in turn grow to produce another seed.
Purchasing
Some flower seeds can be purchased from the Bug Catching Guild Store using Bug Catching Medals. The Guild Store can be accessed by interacting with
Auni.
Flower Bloom Event
Certain flower seeds can be obtained by participating in the Flower Bloom Event. This event appears every Palian day at 12:00 PM in Kilima Valley.
Most Decorative Flowers from the event will give one seed when fully grown, with exceptions for the Cypress Tree, Fern, Coastal Bush, and all Flowering Bush variants.
Piksii Blossom Bounce
There are flower seeds that can only be obtained by participating in the Piksii Blossom Bounce event. This event appears every Palian day at 10:00 PM in the Deep Woods, located in the Elderwood.
None of the Decorative Flowers obtained from this event give seeds when fully grown.
