Home Lines are modular housing sets that allow the player to design a customizable home on their Housing Plot.
Description
Home lines are a major evolution of the Palia housing system, designed to give players more flexibility and modularity in building their dream homes.

How to Obtain
Each Home Line set has crafting recipes for each piece, which can be acquired by completing various Lunar Paths. These can be obtained at any time, regardless of a player's progression in the game. Once obtained, all unlocked items can be crafted at a Worktable on the player's Housing Plot.
Home Lines are limited to a certain number of buildings that are allowed to be connected together. The base game limit starts at 10 connected buildings, but this number can be raised by obtaining Home Line upgrades. These are also acquired by completing Lunar Paths.
Mechanics
Home Lines work quite differently from the standard Harvest House set. While the Harvest House set has preset buildings and attachments that must all be attached to a main Harvest House, the Home Lines sets have a single base room model that the player can place wherever and however they'd like, within certain limits. The base room of any Home Line can be attached to other base rooms on any side. They can also be stacked on top of each other to create multiple floors.
Home Line houses cannot be placed from the player inventory. Instead, they can be found in the Housing Plot inventory ( / ). Any large pieces that may be placed on or replace a wall, such as the
Alchemist Fireplace or
Ancient Bay Window, can also be found from this interface. Smaller items such as windows or roof trims can be placed from the player inventory, and will be stored in the Decor tab of your Storage. If you cannot find an item in your inventory or storage after crafting it, check the Housing Plot inventory first!
All Home Lines and their accessories can be connected to each other, meaning you can mix and match pieces from any set to create your ideal home!
Due to the fact that Home Lines and the Harvest House set work so differently, the two cannot be attached together in conventional ways. They can, however, be placed on the same plot simultaneously.
Features
Home Lines have a variety of features that allow the player to customize their house far beyond the limits of what the Harvest House has to offer. Features available to Home Lines are as follows:
- Multi-Level Building: Ability to stack rooms up to two levels high.
- Indoor Stairs: Ability to place stairs inside to access higher levels.
- Custom Walls: Ability to change or remove walls entirely, regardless of whether another room is connected.
- Open Vertical Spaces: Ability to remove floors between levels for lofts or larger open areas.
- Attic Access: Ability to add functional attic spaces.
- Open-Air Patios: Ability to hide the roof of a room to create outdoor spaces.
- Socketable Add-On Points: Attach unique building add-ons at designated spots.
- Custom Rooftop Items: Ability to place specific roof-style objects on top of your home.
- Group Select: Selecting the first story will include everything connected to it, while selecting parts of the second story will only include items linked to the specific areas chosen.
Upgrades
Home Lines can also be upgraded to allow the player to attach more buildings to each other, or allow for higher floors to be built. The upgrades available are as follows:
Home Line Room Upgrade: Raises the number of Home Line buildings you can have connected together by one.
Housing Level Increase: Add another level to your home, because bigger dreams need higher ceilings.
Available Home Lines
There are several Home Lines available for the player to unlock and build. To view the individual decor pieces in each set, you can view their respective decor pages.
