Player Menu

Look it up in Palia Pal

The Player Menu is a menu in Palia. The Player Menu has multiple tabs including Feature Guide, Inventory, Map, Quests, Community, Relationships, and Accomplishments. Additionally, News, Collections, and the Premium Store can be accessed from here.

Feature Guide

The Feature Guide tab is the first tab in the Player Menu, and shows off a brief overview of features added in the newest Patch Updates, including new or relevant Accomplishments, Artifacts (if applicable), the current Bundle Board, and Dailies.

This tab does not have a quick access button, but can be accessed from any other Player Menu tab by selecting the furthest-left tab at the top of the screen.

1 - Overview

The Overview section shows a brief look at what the newest patch update has added to the game. For each new patch, the Featured Content section will show off new items for the player to obtain and discover. For major updates - such as the Elderwood or Royal Highlands updates - the overview screen will contain artwork and information about those updates spanning across several patches, before transitioning into a seasonal themed overview as the game receives more minor updates.

2 - Accomplishments

The Accomplishments section lists new accomplishments from the most recent patches, allowing the completionist to easily track which accomplishments have yet to be completed.

3 - Artifacts

The Artifacts section lists images of the Artifacts added by the most recent update, typically from major updates.

4 - Bundle Board

The Bundle Board section shows the current monthly Bulletin Board bundles. This updates as you contribute items to the board.

5 - Dailies

The Dailies section displays your current Daily Quests. From this screen, you can pin your Dailies like you could a normal quest, reroll them for a different quest, and claim them once completed.

Inventory

The Inventory tab shows important information such as tools, levels, currencies, and items.

This tab can be quickly accessed by pressing / on PC, and by pressing , navigating to "Inventory", then on Nintendo Switch.

1 - Tools

The Tools section shows all of the tools that the player has, as well as their durability statuses. Additionally, tools can be dragged and dropped to change their locations on the tool wheel.

2 - Skill Levels

The Skill Levels section shows each of the nine skills in Palia. Each skill is represented by an icon surrounded by a wheel, which shows the current level progress, the current skill level, and the number of Skill Medals that you have per each skill. These Skill Medals can be redeemed at various guild stores for items such as furniture, recipes, and equipment.

3 - Character Preview

Here, you can see your character's avatar.

4 - Level & Focus

Here, you can see your overall skill level, represented by the large number on the left. This number is calculated by adding up each of the skill levels.
Next, you can see your player name and equipped nameplate, as well as your personality type. There are four different signs that can appear here: Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. Your specific sign is correlated to which personality type you most resonate with when selecting specific dialogue choices.
Below your player name is your Focus bar. You can see what your current focus level is, as well as the maximum possible focus.
To the right of your Focus bar, you can find your Character Profile. In your Character Profile, you can customize your biography and profile icon, and customize whether other people who view your profile and see your Plot Value, accomplishments, skill levels, and Villager Pins.

5 - Currencies

The Gold icon shows how much gold you currently have. You can earn gold by selling items. This number is capped at 999,999.
The Renown icon shows how much renown you currently have. You can earn renown by levelling up, developing relationships with villagers, completing quests, and completing accomplishments. This number is capped at 9,999.
The icon shows how many Palia Coins you currently have. You can earn Palia Coins by purchasing them from the Currency Store using real money.
The Purple Card icon shows how many days you have left to collect from your Zeki's Loyalty Club subscription.
If there is an event active, then this area will also show any event-exclusive currency, such as the Maji Market Ticket icon for the Maji Market event. When the event is over, its related currency will no longer appear.

6 - Accessories

The Accessories section shows your currently equipped accessories such as Villager Pins, fishing attachments, gliders, equipped relics, pets, and mounts.

7 - Items

The Items section shows the current contents of your Backpack, Ammo Pouch, Quest Pouch, and Currency Pouch.

8 - Trash

The Trash Button allows for items to be dragged and dropped into it to be permanently deleted.

Map

The Map tab shows the map of the current area that you are in.

This tab can be quickly accessed by pressing on PC, and on Nintendo Switch.

Quests

The Quests tab shows all of your quests. You can select one of your quests to display more information in the right hand panel, including the quest description, current objectives, and rewards.

This tab can be accessed by pressing on PC, and by pressing , navigating to "Quests", then on Nintendo Switch.

1 - Pinned Quests

Any Pinned Quests will jump to the top of your quest list in its respective category.
Pinning a quest allows for it to show up on your in game screen without having to open the quest menu for information. You can have up to three pinned quests at once and you can change them out whenever desired.
Pressing the button will pin your quest, moving it to the top of its category. Pressing the button will unpin your quest, moving it back down to its regular spot in its category.

2 - Main Story

The Main Story tab shows all of your active main quests.
Pressing the button will pin your quest, moving it to the top of its category.

3 - Quests

The Quests tab shows all of your active discovery, found item, friendship, and romance quests.
Pressing the button will pin your quest, moving it to the top of its category.

4 - Completed Quests

The Completed tab shows all of your completed quests.

Community

The Community tab shows your current community. If you are not currently a member of a community, you will be able to create one here as well as see community invites.

Relationships

The Relationships tab shows the Player's current friendship and romance status with each Villager.

This tab can be accessed by pressing on PC, and by pressing , navigating to "Relationships", then on Nintendo Switch.

1 - List of Villagers and Relationship Overview

Here, you can see a quick overview of your Friendship and Romance levels with each villager, as well as if you have chatted with them today.
The icon next to a villager indicates that you have not yet chatted with them today.
A blue bar next to a villager indicates the friendship level, a pink bar indicates the romance level, and a yellow bar means that it is maxed out.

2 - Villager Card

A more detailed view of the villager. A description indicating how the villager feels about you is located here.

3 - Daily Gift

This box indicates whether the player has given the villager a gift that day. Once they've received a gift, the box displays a green check. Daily gifts reset every real world day, at 4:00 AM UTC.

4 - Weekly Wants

These four boxes show the weekly wants the villager has requested. The boxes display question mark icons until the player has discovered their wants by selecting the "Discover" button on the Weekly Wants tab of the Bulletin Board in Kilima Village, after which they are replaced by icons of the requested item. The thumbs up icons in the upper left corner of each box indicate whether the requests are likes or loves: one thumbs up for like, double thumbs up for love. After giving them a requested item, the matching icon will be marked with a green check. Weekly Wants reset Monday at 4:00 AM UTC.

5 - Progression

Shows the current Friendship and Romance levels as well as their current progression. You can also see which rewards you will receive at each level.

Accomplishments

Here you can view your Accomplishments and track your progress, including weekly tasks and completed accomplishments.

Events

This tab is only available when an event, such as Maji Market, is active. This tab contains the event-exclusive information, accomplishments, and quests.

News

This is where the player can access any messages from the game developers, whether it be celebratory gifts or items sent by customer support.

Collections

The Collections button, identified by a button with an icon of three cards, allows the player to view and equip different emotes, stickers, quick chats, pets, tool skins, nameplates, and mounts at any time.

Lunar Paths

The Lunar Paths button, identified by a deep red button with a crescent moon icon, is where you can view all available Lunar Paths.

Premium Store

This button accesses the Premium Store, where the player can purchase premium cosmetics and Housing Plot skins with Palia Coins.
