How long it takes
Each daily quest gives 5,000 Lunar XP, so both dailies are one tier a day. Skill XP adds Lunar XP on top, 10× while you have Rest XP, which builds for up to 24 hours away from the game, and the Bulletin Board bundles give a lump of it.
What's on the path
The patch notes describe rewards pulled directly from 80's and 90's nostalgia.
Tiers and rewards from the Palia wiki as soon as its page for the path exists; until then the free rewards named in the patch notes are listed above.

The patch notes describe rewards pulled directly from 80's and 90's nostalgia. The full tier list is in game and comes here with the wiki's page.
How long does Path of the Classics take?
Every tier takes 10,000 Lunar XP, so all 22 take 220,000. Each daily quest gives 5,000, so both dailies every day is one tier a day: about 22 days from dailies alone. Skill XP adds Lunar XP on top, 10× while you have Rest XP (it builds up for up to 24 hours away).

Do I need to activate Path of the Classics?
Yes. Only the active path earns Lunar XP, and XP earned with no path active is lost, so activate it before you play.
