Description

A curious pair of gilded goggles that look built for uncovering hidden details. Who knows? Perhaps someone is hiding something after all. — In-Game Path of the Briar Description

When equipped, the Alchemist's Goggles will create a geometric purplish-red pixelated vignette around the edges of the screen, which can be disabled from the wardrobe. The goggles are uniquely capable of revealing hidden secrets in the world. Even with the special camera effects disabled, these secrets are still visible.

How to Obtain

The Alchemist's Goggles can be obtained from the premium rewards in Path of the Briar upon reaching path level 28.

Notes

A description for the Alchemist Goggles in the 0.205 Patch Notes state the goggles to be "A new type of goggles that gives you a Grimalkin-themed view", alluding to these goggles being a type of Grimalkin technology.

Secret revealed by the goggles:

• When the player looks at Eshelon, purple-black Umbral Wings (Similar to those the player receives when consuming an Umbral Wings Potion) can be seen on his back. There is no dialogue to question him about this, nor does he comment on it while wearing the goggles.
• › Some players speculate this alludes to Eshelon's involvement in the main story, referring to the dark feathers and used runestone found at the Temple of the Gales, and the fact that Eshelon has admitted to using Flow.
