(Player), you have clearly mastered the Majiri custom of gift giving, so I wanted to share with you another sacred tradition: Starstones.
When we are born, the Dragon moon is in a certain phase, and the stars in a certain position. Specific stones are associated with being born under these astrological signs.
I was born under the Last Quarter moon, which means my sign is the Merchant. And thus, I am expected to be intelligent, calculating, and ambitious.
Of course, you don't need to look at the stars to know that.
If you wish to learn more about Starstones, perhaps stop by the Library? I just got a new volume on the subject that you might find enlightening.
The Merchant's stone is the rare, valuable, Ruby. I find surrounding myself with ruby things helps me feel more...powerful, more myself.
