Biography
Sabine Otoro was sunshine personified—a vibrant soul whose warmth touched everyone she met. After the Umbraan War, she met her husband Ashura and helped him heal. They settled in the valley after falling in love with the Shimmerfly migration and opened the Ormuus Horn Inn together, turning it into a second home for the whole village.
Sabine was an adventurer at heart—always climbing, laughing, and lifting spirits. She loved pies, dumplings (“tiny pies,” she’d say), and dancing through happy hour. A loving wife, a devoted mother, and a bright presence in the community, she left behind a legacy of joy and compassion.
She died in a tragic climbing accident. Though her body rests at the Majiri wellspring, her remembrance site in the village honors her with the words she lived by: “Life is a constant adventure.” Her spirit lives on in her family, the inn, and the hearts of all who knew her.
