Tish: Dialogue: Gifting

After First Gift

At the Player's Housing Plot

Tish
I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for being such a generous friend. I haven't been the best at giving gifts lately.
I know you didn't give me a gift just to get something in return...but I thought I'd reciprocate anyway.
Here's a new wallpaper for your house. It's just plain white, but don't let that fool you. White can be a perfect blank canvas for creativity! + Standard Stucco Wall

Starstone

Given Quartz

Tish
Is that a Quartz? For ME?
You are SO sweet! Oh my dragon, I better put this somewhere safe!

Requests

Requesting Ancient Wood Plank, Whitestone

Tish
If you go out to the Elderwood, would you mind bringing me back some (Ancient Wood Planks / Whitestone)?
I need some for a piece I'm working on.

Requesting Angelfish

Tish
If you go out to the Elderwood, would you let me know if you spot a Angelfish?
I tried to make a sculpture of one....
But I just couldn't get the fins right.

Requesting Clay

Tish
If you go down to the lake, would you mind bringing me back some clay?
I need some for a pottery piece I'm working on.

Requesting Dawnray

Tish
If you go Fishing, would you let me know if you spot a dawnray?
I want to make a series of furniture using Dawnray Leather.
The luminescent sheen is just incredible!

Requesting Glass Bulb

Tish
Did you get a glassmaker recently?
If so, could you make some glass bulbs? I need them for the lamps in the shop.
If not, maybe you could consider getting one soon?

Requesting Green Pearl

Tish
I read in a book somewhere that there were special kinds of pearls that were green.
I wonder what makes them like that...
Nature's always so full of surprises.

Requesting Heartwood Plank, Sapwood Plank

Tish
If you go out logging, would you mind bringing me back some (Heartwood / Sapwood) planks?
I've been working on this new rustic furniture set that's required more than me and Reth can collect on our own.

Requesting Pinecone

Tish
I like to plant a new tree for every piece of furniture I make.
If you come across any pinecones, could you bring me some?

Requesting Ship Fragments

Tish
I heard you can sometimes find ship fragments when fishing in the ocean.
I'd LOVE to make some furniture out of reclaimed wood.

Requesting Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Tish
Do you ever wake up with random cravings too, or is it just me?
I have the strongest craving for some fresh cabbage rolls right now.
The fresher the cabbage, the better!

Requesting Wagon Wheel

Tish
If you find any old wagon wheels in the lake, let me know.
I need some for a kitschy take on a wreath I'm working on.

Responses

General Acceptance

Tish
Oh my dragon! This is for me?
It's perfect, (Player). Thank you!

Rejection

General Rejection

Tish
It's really sweet you thought of me, but I'll have to pass.
Don't worry! I'm sure plenty of people will like getting this from you!

Duplicate Weekly Gift

Tish
Oh! Uhm, I really appreciate it, but my bag is overflowing with these right now.

Specific Rejection

Rejecting Ruined Food

Tish
Cooking is as much a labor of love as carpentry is. Sometimes we just totally miss the mark, and that's alright!

Specific Responses

Given Acorn, Juniper Seed, Pinecone, Samara

Tish
Oh, thank you! I'll make sure this little seed will grow up big and strong.
One day I bet it'll make a beautiful crib... or maybe a sled?
Who am I to tell it what to be!

Given Ancient Wood Plank, Sapwood Plank, Heartwood Plank

Tish
I think this wood wants to be a table...or maybe...an armoire...
It's not my job to design the furniture after all.
I just get rid of all the extra bits of wood, keeping each plank from reaching its full potential.

Given Apple Pie, Blueberry Pie

Tish
Oh wow, I was just craving some pie!
How'd you know?!

Given Green Pearl

Tish
Wait, this is for me?!
OH! EM! DRAGON! It really IS green! It's soooo pretty, thank you!

Given Silk Thread, Sweet Leaf

Tish
Oh! Wow! I've been window shopping for something like this for months.
I can't believe you finally gave me one.

Given Sunstone

Tish
It really does sparkle just like the sun!
This is so sweet, (Player)!
