Questions

What is the fastest way to level Fishing in Palia?

The most XP per catch comes from Maws (485 XP, glow worm). With a +20% focus bonus you'd need about 160 of them to go from level 1 to 25. Keep your focus bonus up: it adds to every bit of XP.

How much XP do you need for level 25 Fishing?

92,720 XP from level 1. Level 1 → 2 takes 240 XP, rising to 3,720 for 8 → 9, and every level after that takes 5,000.

How much XP is level 100 Fishing?

467,720 XP from level 1, for the Grandmaster Angler accomplishment.

Does focus give more XP?

When utilizing Skills, the current Focus Bonus is added onto the total EXP gain. This can be represented with EXP + Focus Bonus%. For example, if a new player starting with a 20% Focus Bonus made Grilled Meat, which has a base EXP of 20, they would earn a total of 24 EXP. A player with a 100% Focus Bonus would earn 40 EXP from the same dish.

Do perfect catches give more XP?

Perfect catches increase the amount of experience awarded for catching the fish by 20%.
