Spiritfest

Jaakcats are known to be associated with the Spiritfest holiday, having been the main inspiration for the popular seasonal Jaak-o-Lantern. During Spiritfest, motifs of the Jaakcat are very common, and the Jaakcat even plays a role itself in the holiday festivities.

During the span of the Spiritfest holiday, Jaakcats can be found in a limited-time Ghastly variation. Ghastly Jaakcats will don a glowing pumpkin on their head, with a ragged cloth draped over their backs. These variants don't have any unique skills different from their standard forms, but will have a chance to drop Tattered Cloth when felled.

Ghastly Jaakcats can also appear in Amber-Encased and Masked forms. These Jaakcats will have the same traits and abilities of the standard masked variations.
