Description
The Piksii Shmole is a rare, magical variant of the mushroom-like creature that burrows in the caves and rocks of the Elderwood. It is identified by its wide light blue cap with bright pink stripes on the back. They have small pink eyes framed by feather-like eyebrows. Underneath, it sports luminscent pink underside and stem-like body with spindly arms that flare at the wrist.
When infected, it can be differentiated from its other variants by its bright glowing shield, a sign of its magical ability.
Location
Shmoles can be found in Elderwood caves and rocky areas, specifically in:
Behavior
Piksii Shmoles live communally with other variants of Shmole in in vast networks of tunnels called Shmole Holes. These openings are marked by mounds of dirt and can be found on the ground, walls, or even ceilings of caves or rocks. Shmoles have no issue hanging upside down from the roof of a cavern.
Shmoles never leave their tunnels. When at ease, Shmoles peacefully idle above ground, swaying back and forth in spot and occasionally letting out a deep clicking grunt. However, when startled by Humans or crossfire from Arrows or Smoke Bombs, they dive into the tunnels for safety and emerge from a different hole a moment later.
Piksii Shmoles have the magical ability to cast a glowing purple shield to themselves and to nearby shmoles. These shields absorb an extra hit from Arrows. This ability can be disabled by hitting the Piksii Shmole with a
Dispel Arrow.

Fine Arrow or above to be felled.
