Shmoles are a huntable creature type in Palia.
These little ones are tricky to catch - when alerted they’ll dive back into their hole and pop out somewhere else within the network, sort of like a multiplayer version of whack-a-mole.

Shmoles, like Ogopuus and various other Elderwood creatures, can be infected with Infected Essence.
