Phoenixfire Dawnspur

How to get a Phoenixfire Dawnspur

1. 1Finish “Like a Bird”

To unlock ranching, you must first complete the quest Like a Bird. Once you have earned your Glider, Delaila will arrive at your Housing Plot and gift you the recipe for the Barn Bell.

2. 2Buy it at the register

Phoenixfire Dawnspurs are obtained as the player progresses through Binnie's side quests scattered throughout the Royal Highlands. Alternatively, with the purchase of the Phoenixfire Riding License or Phoenixfire Dawnspur Starter Bundle in the Premium Store, the Player will receive a free voucher for one Phoenixfire Dawnspur and unlock immediate purchase of the animal.

3. 3Buy it at the register

Phoenixfire Dawnspurs in the Player's ranch may be used for riding if the player obtains the Phoenixfire Dawnspur Riding License, purchased from the Premium Store. All ridable mounts in Palia may only be accessible for riding after completing Hassian's side quest, Before the Dawn. This quest is given once the Player reaches the Royal Highlands, and is available to complete at any time, regardless of main story progression.

Rule — Animals at the Baby or Venerated Age do not produce items or breed. Adult animals will produce specific items based on the species, each with a limit on how many they can carry. Item production is affected by the animals overall happiness as well as how many of the same species you have. If you’re over the species cap, it will slow down production of items. Production, happiness and focus are explained in the Ranching guide.

All Phoenixfire Dawnspurs, when reaching Young Adult or further in age, will begin producing a variety of spicy dishes available in the game. This includes Chili Oil Dumplings, Phoenixfire Relleno, Reth's Hot Peki Wings, Spicy Crab Fried Rice, Spicy Stir Fry, Spicy Rice Cakes, Spicy Honey-Baked Muujin, and Zeki's Spicy Taiyaki. Phoenixfire Dawnspurs do not drop any Star Quality versions of these dishes.

Also unique to the breed, all Phoenixfire Dawnspurs have the ability "Faster Together", which gives the perk of making all of your current party members ride faster while mounted.
