Phoenixfire Riffroc

How to get a Phoenixfire Riffroc

1. 1Finish “Like a Bird”

To unlock ranching, you must first complete the quest Like a Bird. Once you have earned your Glider, Delaila will arrive at your Housing Plot and gift you the recipe for the Barn Bell.

2. 2

All ridable mounts in Palia may only be accessible for riding after completing Hassian's quest, Before the Dawn. This quest is given once the Player reaches the Royal Highlands, and is available to complete at any time, regardless of main story progression.

3. 3

Phoenixfire Riffrocs can be obtained by cross-breeding a Phoenixfire Dawnspur and a Riffroc that both have the Open-Minded trait. It is, however, not a guarantee that you will receive a Phoenixfire Riffroc from this matchup, and breeding attempts may have to be repeated several times.

4. 4Buy it at the register

Additional Phoenixfire Riffrocs can be purchased from the Ranching Guild Store for 10000 gold

Rule — Animals at the Baby or Venerated Age do not produce items or breed. Adult animals will produce specific items based on the species, each with a limit on how many they can carry. Item production is affected by the animals overall happiness as well as how many of the same species you have. If you’re over the species cap, it will slow down production of items. Production, happiness and focus are explained in the Ranching guide.

The Phoenixfire Riffroc has two abilities, Grillmaster and Horse Power. The Grillmaster ability allows the Phoenixfire Riffroc to produce grilled foods, and the Horse Power ability causes your party's mounts to use less stamina while riding.

Traits

Phoenixfire Riffrocs can have a variety of traits that influence their happiness, focus, production speed, lifespan, and riding traits exclusive to ridable mounts. Traits can be inherited through breeding or discovered when purchasing new Phoenixfire Riffrocs.
